Schools Day description

In the lush grounds of the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden, primary and secondary students will be inspired, delighted and challenged through thoughtful discussion of literature and ideas. Authors, illustrators and podcasters will share insights into their writing process, invite students to consider new perspectives and encourage them in their own creative pursuits.

The day features multi-prize and literary award winners Anita Heiss and Lili Wilkinson; New York Times bestselling author Amie Kaufman; science ‘edutainor’ Dr Matt Agnew; documentary TV producer/author Nick Long and illustrator/cartoonist Robin Tatlow-Lord; podcasters Squiz Kids and Hey History!; and, comedy and viral sensation Steph Tisdell.
